It took a "village" or community to raise us as a child. Think about all the teachers and people that impacted your life growing up. Beyond your family. It takes a community to heal the sick. Consider how many allied health professionals are involved whenever you find yourself needing support and care.
The key takeaway from the SelfCare book was that "Connection is the Elixir to Longevity!". Out of the 9 longevity hotspots, one thing was common and continually rose to the top of the longevity list of factors. All of them lived and worked as integrated communities helping each other. No one was doing it alone!
So here is your call to courage. Join our community in a way that feels good for you.
